We’re a street band whose goal is to enliven public spaces with music, movement, and the spirit of solidarity. We play songs from various traditions in support of communities and struggles, with the goal of challenging systemic injustice and fostering care, respect, and equality both in our band and in the world. We mostly play unpaid gigs in community contexts, but occasionally do paid gigs if it fits our vision and seems fun. Our members commit to being proactive participants in the project and to taking care of the relationships we share in the band and throughout our wider communities.
